We all know the power of an e-mail list. And, how amazingly effective it can be at nurturing current customers, promoting upsells, and just getting eyeballs on your content.

But, one thing that I often see overlooked is uploading that list into FB! Yes, that’s right. Not only can you hit up your prospects via e-mail, but you can also dip into their newsfeeds, stories, and much more when you upload your list as a custom audience.  In this article, we will cover 3 Reasons You Should Re-Target Your E-mail List on FB. Reason #1: It gives users the appearance that your company is EVERYWHERE.

Imagine you purchase a new pair of shoes and the very same day you start seeing ads about how amazing the shoes are and how to best use them? AMAZING, right!? Well, that’s exactly what you can do with an e-mail list custom audience.

Not only will you be able to send folks a newsletter every day to their e-mail but now with your new custom audience you can take those e-mails and put them in front of your subscribers on another channel. This essentially doubles the likelihood of your subscribers seeing your e-mail since you will now be in their FB and IG newsfeed as well. Because with more and more of our attention being allocated to browsing feeds it only makes sense to upload that list, like yesterday. 

Reason #2: MORE engagement and social proof on your ads.

Typically, when someone is on an e-mail list this means they have taken a step towards working with you in one way or another. It could be opting in for a free guide, purchasing a product, or maybe people just want to receive updates from you. Either way, one thing we know for sure if these folks are literally asking for you to be in front of them.

When putting your ads, content, etc. in front of people like this it significantly increases the chances of receiving feedback; like, share, or comment. So, any time you have a solid campaign running and want to give it a little boost you can always RT your e-mail list audience and if the list is sizeable you can expect a nice response and boost to your ad. 

Reason #3: You can create LOOKALIKE Audiences with your list.

Last, but certainly not least, you can create Lookalike Audiences (aka: LAA, LAL, LLA). These audiences are known for being extremely effective at finding other prospects on the platform that are VERY similar to the people on your list.

In other words, Facebook takes the info from your list and goes into the Facebook Universe and finds the subscribers virtual twins based on their behavior, demo, and other attributes. The possibilities here are only limited by your imagination. But, one thing is for sure, it is an extremely effective way to find new prospects and get your offers in front of the right people.
